Beautiful, Un-Fussy, Sweetness…
Greg and Yue Pui’s wedding was a lovely, simple, heartfelt affair. The weather was perfect and the trees offered up the last of their sweet blossoms for the occasion. Greg and Yue Pui added just enough details to make their wedding personal and pretty, without being fussy. The lace curtains surrounding the pergola took us to photography heaven, as did the fluttery little sleeves Yue Pui had added to her whimsical gown. Greg wore a boutonniere handmade by Yue Pui, and hung bells from the trees which provided a calming zen-like feeling to the day. These two are just beautiful together. There is an ease – a grace – a sweetness about them that we admire and is evident in their photographs.

We didn’t do an engagement session with Yolanda and Richard so we didn’t know what to expect. Turns out they were tons of fun… they had that thing we love where couples are just over-the-moon-happy and it shows. They were up for anything, they enjoyed every minute of their day, smiling ear to ear the whole time. It was really heartwarming to be a part of that just a few short weeks after our own wedding.

I had a sunrise rendezvous with 6 month old Madigan (oh, and her parents, Alicia and BJ) downtown for the tail-end of the cherry blossoms. She was so expressive and easygoing! If I knew my baby would be like that, I wouldn't hesitate to embark on that journey. Most babies don't look at the camera much but Madigan had her beautiful blue eyes on me the whole time and the results are lovely....
